COURSE GOALS

          Provide specific knowledge to use resources in production to make best goods and service: the lowest cost, best quality and most satisfied service. Manage all of decision making to help production and operation decisions in allowed conditions.

          End of course, students’s knowledge will be evaluated by outcomes of Production and Operation Management Course, in outcomes of Bachelor of Business Administration Program. Response levels are categorized based on 6 levels of awareness scale of Benjamin S.Bloom (1956).

Course Desription

          Production and Operation Management is a field of management related to design, and control production process and design activities in the production of goods or service. It involves ensuring that activities are effective in lowest cost and highest efficiency to meet  the requirements of customers.

          It involves managing the input conversion process (materials, labor and resources) on the outputs (goods and/ or service).

          The most appropriate method of learning is the visual method and the method of practice. Course helps learners anticipate needs, plan resources, and schedule production.
